c.1900's Holophane Paris Metro Entranceway Light

These lights were made by Holophane, France and were designed and used only for  the Parisian Metro station entanceways. In the early 2000's a small number were dismantled as part of a large renovation plan before deciding that these iconic lights should remain as part of the Parisians Metro patrimony. You can still see them in place in many of Paris' Metro stations such as the entrance of the Champs Elysees station aswell as the iconic Art Nouveau station entrances like Abesses or Porte Dauphine. 

Price is for each. Measurements: 25cm high, 33 cm diameter.
